    Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice supports children with life-limiting conditions and their families across West Yorkshire.

    Known for its pioneering approach, they offer unique services delivered by a highly specialist team of nurses and therapists, with support from doctors in local NHS trusts and GP practices.

    Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2021/22, the hospice is a place where ordinary people make an extraordinary difference every day.

    Marie Curie - Bradford

    Marie Curie Hospice supports patients who have a terminal diagnosis, providing both inpatient care in Bradford, and community end-of-life care across the whole of West Yorkshire.

    Referrals are accepted from health professionals including specialist and district nurses, GPs, hospital consultants, and from the public for the Companion Service, offering befriending and support. The multidisciplinary team includes consultant medical staff, specialist doctors and nurses, therapists, social workers, bereavement counsellors, and support services. Marie Curie also provide a innovative hospital admission prevention response team (REACT) supporting patients in crisis.

    Martin House Children's Hospice


    Martin House provides family-centred, holistic palliative care for children and young people (0-25) with life-shortening conditions across West, East, and North Yorkshire.

    Referrals are accepted from young people, family members, and clinical professionals. Martin House’s dedicated team includes two Paediatric Palliative Care Consultants, clinical nurse specialists, and over 200 compassionate staff members, all working tirelessly to provide a 24/7 service under the leadership of Chief Executive Clair Holdsworth.

The hospice provides specialist care for adults with active, progressive, and advanced diseases, including cancer, neurological conditions, and end-stage respiratory and heart disease.

    Referrals are accepted from healthcare providers, including GPs and hospital teams, as well as self-referrals.

    The multi-disciplinary team consists of around 160 staff, including doctors, specialist nurses, therapists, social workers, spiritual care staff, and bereavement counsellors.
