Strategic and Development Support for the West Yorkshire Hospice Collaborative
We are looking for a freelance consultant to help support us through the next stage of our collaboration. We have built strong and trusted relationships both within the collaborative and with the health and care system, and now are looking for support to get the most from time-stretched collaborative members, and help them realise their ambitions of more resilient and equitable palliative and end of life care for the people of West Yorkshire.
We deliver all of this in partnership, so your skills in building relationships with stakeholders will be particularly valued.
What support are we looking for?
We are looking for senior support to underpin the work of the Collaborative. We have a well-established system of a rotating Chair and Vice Chairs as well as a small number of task and finish groups. Your work will be behind-the-scenes, getting the most from time-stretched collaborative members and helping them build direct relationships with stakeholders across West Yorkshire and beyond.
This support will:
1. Help build the financial and organisational resilience of members of the hospice collaborative.
2. Create equity in access so that everyone who needs palliative and end of life care is aware of our services and can access high quality and effective services easily and rapidly.
3. Deepen our partnerships across the health and care system so that care is joined up and effective
4. Help us become stronger together by investing in our collaborative
You will be working alongside our existing Virtual Administrator as well as some light-touch support from our current strategy consultant whose role will shift to independent facilitation of two workshops a year to take stock of strategy and governance.
